Kylie Jenner has recently opened up her haters, her lips and her 7-month-old daughter Stormi whom she shares with boyfriend Travis Scott.
Jenner recently revealed that after years of plumping up her lips, she decided to dissolve her temporary lip fillers. She has also previously admitted that her lips were her biggest insecurity and that she would overline them with lip liner to give off the illusion that they were bigger than they were.
“I was super insecure about my lips,” Kylie told Glamour UK. “I really wanted to illusion of bigger lips, so I overlined mine like crazy, and then people started getting obsessed.”
The 21-year-old makeup mogul is the sole owner of her near-billion dollar company Kylie Cosmetics which she launched to produce and sell her famous Kylie Lipkits. The makeup line is now host to a range of cosmetics including – but not limited to – highlighters, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and blush.
Being in the public eye since the age of 10, she’s well aware that she has haters who pick apart her life, style, make-up line and parenting skills.
She told Glamour UK, “So many negative things come at me all the time. Of course, it does affect me, but you develop a thick skin,”
“Nothing has lasted so long that I haven’t gotten through it, so whenever a new bad story or rumor emerges, I know it will pass, too. Everything in life is transient.”
After finding her passion for make-up, her business has now given her a “purpose.”
“I love to work, as Mom has installed such a great work ethic in all of us. If I didn’t have that, I don’t know what I would do. I get to create, it exercises my mind and I am always thinking of how to make the formulas or develop new products.”
“I work hard for Stormi and being able to pass Kylie Cosmetics onto her — if she is interested — would be such a cool thing to do,” said Kylie.
