This $5 Kmart hack will help kids sleep on a plane

Flight attendant reveals all!

Getting kids to sleep on a flight is one of the hardest things facing parents when they travel. However, a flight attendant has revealed a family’s clever Kmart hack that made the kids more comfortable on a plane.

The woman shared the tip with other parents on Facebook page Bondi Babies, news.com.au reported.

“I’m a flight attendant and just had a passenger travelling with three little kidlets,” she wrote.

“She bought three soft dog beds ($5 Kmart) as a comfy pillow.

“The soft padded bits around the edge softened hard armrests, buckles etc, and also served as a pillow and leg rest.”

“It was a winner! Perfect for airlines that don’t allow BedBox/Fly Tot etc.”

Popular kids’ travel cushions such as the Fly Tot, JetKids BedBox, Fly LegsUp, Plane Pal and were banned by Qantas and Jetstar last yar.

Qantas said in a statement that those products had “the potential to impede access to seats and aisles, damage aircraft seats and fixtures, and block access to emergency equipment”.

Virgin initially banned the products but reversed the decision in November.

The Kmart fleece pet bed can be easily rolled up and packed in hand luggage.
