Kate to attend Meghan’s second baby shower

No bad blood here!

Proving there really is no bad blood between them, the Duchess of Cambridge is set to attend a second baby shower for her sister-in-law Meghan Markle.

Hosted by Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland, Kate will join the likes of fashion guru Victoria Beckham and other close family and friends for the low key gathering which is expected to take place at Buckingham Palace over the coming weeks.

Last month, Meghan flew to New York to celebrate the impending arrival with her A-lister pals including Amal Clooney, Serena Williams, Gayle King and Abigail Spencer.

Notably absent from the elaborate do on February 20 was Kate, who reportedly deemed the over-the-top gathering and the media frenzy it attracted as “highly inappropriate.”

However, in a bid to show the world that there is absolutely no tension between the pair, Kate has decided to attend the baby shower this time around and show her support.

In fact, royal commentator and editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine Ingrid Seward said  Kate will play a big role at the second baby shower simply to “shut everyone up” following rumours of a family feud.

She previously told the Sun Online: “I should think she’d (Kate) be the first person on the list just to shut everyone up.

“Maybe Kate will be giving it to her. Somebody could easily be doing it for her.

“I would think it will be her English friends but she would like the other members of the royal family to come.

“It just depends what they are doing. Eugenie would be a likely one as they are so friendly.”
