Jenny Stefanovic, the mother of Karl and Peter Stefanovic, has opened up about her sons’ axing from Channel Nine.
The mother-of-four admitted it’s been a “tough time” for her family, but asserted her sons would overcome their hardships.
“It’s a tough time of change for all,” she wrote on Instagram.
“They have been in war zones, earthquake areas and many other natural disasters,” she continued.
“[They have] seen suffering and devastation throughout the world. They have all worked hard for themselves and the Nine Network and they will overcome these changes as well.”
The Daily Mail reports the comments were made on the social media platform after Jenny’s sister shared a photo of Jenny and Peter’s wife Sylvia Jeffreys at Karl’s recent wedding to Jasmine Yarbrough in Mexico.
On Dec. 19. Peter was dropped from Channel Nine after his contract wasn’t renewed.
Karl was axed off the Today show the following day, but remains with the network for the time being.
