Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set to tie the knot in an extravagant ceremony on May 19 at St Georges Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

But, the couple are already planning their future home together.

The lovebirds are currently residing in the modest two-bedroom, Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace but they are planning on splashing out on a holiday home in… You guessed it Oz!

‘They want to buy a home in Australia – somewhere they can spend a month or two during the warmer months, to get away from things,’ says a source close to the couple.

‘Meghan hates the cold and this was a good compromise for all the long months they’ll be spending in London.’

Australia has a lot of beautiful locations to choose from but the couple are thinking of following in the footsteps of Hollywood star, Chris Hemsworth, and heading to relaxing Byron Bay.

‘Harry had his brokers put some feelers out and they have all decided that Byron Bay is a good option for them – it’s away from all the hustle and bustle of the major cities, has a lot of luxury homes to choose from and has beautiful beachfronts,’ adds the source.

‘Once the wedding is out of the way, they’ll be concentrating on making a decision.’
