And for a good cause.

Prince William and Kate, along with Prince Harry and Meghan, have launched Give Us A Shout, a “free text messaging helpline,” that offers users a “private, silent and trusted way” to seek help in a safe space.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex told their Instagram followers that the UK helpline is an extension of their Heads Together initiative which is also backed by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The Sussexes also revealed how they’d been working behind the scenes for months to get the helpline up and running.

“Last November, Their Royal Highnesses also made a surprise visit to meet with a group of Shout volunteers, and participated in a panel with mental health activist Bryony Gordon, hearing firsthand how the volunteers have found making the connection with vulnerable texters, a majority of whom are under 25, so rewarding – helping to get them through a moment of crisis to a calmer place, and giving them courage to find longer-term support,” the couple shared on their Instagram page.

“Powered by a team of trained volunteers, Shout has already quietly enlisted and trained 1,000 volunteers over the last 12 months, whom in turn have helped 60,000 people.”

William and Kate added via their own Instagram page, “This service is for everyone, but for younger people especially, texting is a trusted and familiar form of communication, and using text rather than apps makes it simple and accessible for everyone with a phone.”
