Inside Harriet Wran’s new life after ice addiction

It’s been two years since Harriet Wran was released from prison over her involvement in a botched robbery, which led to the murder of drug dealer, Daniel McNulty.

Now, images have emerged of the daughter of former New South Wales premier Neville Wran and his wife Jill as she continues her road to recovery – and she looks completely different.

Sporting blonde hair and a slimmer frame, Harriet appears to be relishing her new life on her families’ remote property in Ravensdale, near the central coast.

Riding horses and surrounded by nature, Harriet – who previously volunteered at Dr Chris Brown’s Bondi veterinary clinic – is clearly in her element.

The 30-year-old’s new and improved life comes after having spent 759 days behind bars at Silverwater Jail for the robbery of Daniel McNulty and being an accessory after the fact to his murder.

Daniel was killed inside a Redfern housing commission flat by Harriet’s then boyfriend, Michael Lee, 37 and his friend Lloyd Haines, 31.

It was Harriet, who was high on ice at the time, who knocked on the door in order so that Michael and Lloyd could gain entry.

As a result and having admitted her ‘regrets’ over the incident, Harriet has since vowed to never touch drugs again.

“I won’t pick up drugs again,” Harriet said after she was released from prison back in 2016.

“I never thought in a million years I’d end up in jail, let alone for murder. I’ve never intended for anyone to get hurt in my life; it was almost not real to begin with.”
