She’s one of the world’s most beautiful women and a highly sought-after actress, but Eva Mendes is also incredibly private.
She rarely shares images of herself with her partner Ryan Gosling and snaps of the couple’s two children are even harder to come by.
The 45-year-old does run an Instagram account, but the pics she posts are more often than not behind the scenes shots from her various acting gigs and fashion campaigns. A successful business woman Eva has a beauty line and a fashion collection too.
Both of these can be seen on her accounts but Eva being herself? Not so much.
This is one of the reasons why the world was in a tizz when she posted a sweet shot of herself to her account – not only looking 100 per cent natural but also, entirely makeup free.
The woman dubbed the most beautiful in the world several times over was still stunning of course. Possibly even more so. Her skin is flawless, her eyes huge, that famed mouth full and lovely. But there was one surprise – Eva has the sweetest smattering of freckles.
While only light, they’re definitely there for all to see – tip-toeing across the bridge of her nose and out onto her cheeks and they’re positively darling.
Eva herself was not so impressed with the image actively apologising to her 1.4 million fans.
“I just can’t do it. I just can’t seriously take a selfie,” she posted.
“So for those who’ve asked, here you go and I’m sorry. And for the others who never asked for this, I’m sorry too.”
Us? Not sorry. In fact, delighted.
We always knew Eva would be perfection underneath the makeup and it turns out we were oh-so- right.
