Shocking secret of the driver who caused Falkholt family crash revealed

A new report reveals some horrifying news

The man responsible for the tragic Boxing Day crash that killed the family of Home and Away actress Jessica Falkholt and left her clinging to her life in hospital, is alleged to have had almost 200 criminal convictions and often used an alias, a report reveals.

Craig Whitall, 50, crashed his car into the Falkholt’s family car south of Sydney while driving home from a methadone clinic on Boxing Day.

The crash killed Whitall, as well as Jessica’s Father, Lars, mother, Vivian and sister, Annabelle. Jessica remains in a critical condition in hospital after having her life support machine switched off on Thursday.

Before the horrifying accident, Whitall had racked up 183 convictions and spent time in jail under the name Jamie Robert Wilson, The Daily Telegraph reported.

He served five prison sentences, and received a total of 25 driving convictions.

He was also convicted under a false name of 26 counts of break, enter and steal, and terrorising home and business owners, according to the publication.

The Daily Telegraph states that after breaking into premises he liked to leave a calling card, defecating at the scene of his crimes.

As Jamie Wilson, Whitall was convicted of fare evasion, using heroin, dangerous driving, 28 convictions for driving an unregistered or unlicensed car, forgery, breaking domestic violence protection orders, assault and assaulting police.
