Carrie, aka TV’s golden girl, returned to the desk last month after an eight-month break from the show while she was on maternity leave.

Speaking of her time away, and the stress of looking after three children, Carrie said: “It’s been awesome — don’t I look fresh, you know.”

“Don’t let the croaky voice or the snotty nose fool you, I am in bliss.”

Adelaide was born on December 9, 2018 to Carrie and her partner Chris Walker.

The couple also have a daughter, Evie, 4, together, and Carrie is mum to Oliver, 11, whose dad, Carrie’s husband Greg Lange, passed away in 2010 after a long battle with brain cancer.
