Ingredients

Method

Step 1

Lightly grease two oven trays. Cut each pastry sheet into four squares. Place four pastry squares, about 3cm apart, on each prepared tray.

Step 2

Score a 1cm border inside each pastry square. Sprinkle 2 tsp of almond meal inside each border.

Step 3

Cut pears into quarters. Remove and discard cores. Slice thinly. Arrange pear slices, slightly overlapping, over almond meal. Sprinkle each with ¼ tsp cinnamon sugar.

Step 4

Cook in a 200 °C preheated oven for about 20 mins, or until browned.

Step 5

Serve warm galettes topped with ice cream and sprinkled with extra cinnamon sugar.
