Married at First Sight couple Matthew and Lauren are careening towards their toxic TV breakup, with the bride tonight revealing the complexity of her personal needs, following the revelation she has in the past enjoyed lesbian relationships.

See the couple’s confrontation below:

Naive Matthew, who was a virgin until Lauren initiated him into sex, was left stunned by her revelations about her past, and is tonight confronted with the truth about her relationship requirements – which are said to be far too ‘exotic’ for him to cope with.

‘There’s certain things that I need in a relationship that you might be overwhelmed to do,’ Lauren says in a promo for tonight’s episode, to which a clearly nervous Matthew responds: ‘Like… what? Try me.’

Trying to process what he’s been told, Matthew sputters, ‘What does that mean? I don’t want any part of it.’

Lauren – who says Matthew ‘hasn’t done one eighth of the things I’ve done in my lifetime’ isn’t thrilled by their emerging incompatibilities over sex either, confessing, ‘I’ve really dug myself into a hole here.’

New Idea this week exclusively revealed just how adventurous Lauren’s tastes are, and how disappointed she was by the way things panned out with Matthew.

‘Their first time together was actually more awkward than romantic,’ says one of Lauren’s close friends. ‘When it comes to the bedroom, she is really adventurous and open to anything, even threesomes and intimacy with the same sex.

‘She’s looking for a manly man, and unfortunately Matt’s lack of experience didn’t meet her expectations.’

Amid reports things are now so toxic between the pair they are required by the show to stay apart, New Idea understands Lauren has already moved on. ‘She’s very happy,’ says a friend.
