The cauliflower trend doesn’t seem like going away any time soon – especially when you see things like THIS amazing ALDI gnocchi dish!Just look at it – plump, crispy pasta parcels with rich tomato sauce. It’s looks good enough to, well, eat!
The budget supermarket revealed the recipe for the delicious guilt-free pasta dish this week, and was immediately liked and commented on by thousands of Aussies.
Writes Aldi: ‘Need more fibre in your diet? Try cauliflower! It’s packed full of dietary fibre, vitamin C and antioxidants. We used it to make gnocchi and it was a winner.
‘To make, steam chopped cauliflower until tender. Add to a food processor with 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 ½ cups of gluten free flour and 1 tsp of salt. Blitz until a dough is formed. Using a teaspoon shape into mini rectangles and lightly pan fry on each side until golden. Try it with pasta sauce, spinach and parmesan for a tasty GF dinner!’They also add that you can use normal flour if you’re not looking for a gluten-free dish.
