This clever graph helps you decide which PIE MAKER to buy – and it’s going viral!

Who knew there was SUCH a big difference?

There’s no doubt that pie makers are one of the most popular new gadgets to hit kitchens around Australia. But with so many different pie makers available in stores – Kmart, Aldi, Sunbeam, Kogan, Harris Scarfe to name a few! – it’s hard to know which one to buy.

Well now a clever home cook at the Kmart Pie Maker Recipes, Tips and Ideas Australia Facebook group has come up with an ingenious graph that will help you decide which model is the right one for you.

Kmart Pie Maker Recipes, Tips and Ideas Australia Facebook member Lorraine posted the handwritten chart, which shows the measurements and sizes of the three most popular Pie Makers – Kmart, Kogan and Sunbeam – to clearly explain the differences.

Another member of the hugely popular Facebook group has also done a photo comparison of three pies made in different gadgets to also give people a visual guide as well. Love it!For anyone new to the Pie Maker game, it’s essential information – and very helpful when making your first purchase.

In short, the chart shows you that the Sunbeam Pie Maker (makes 4 pies) makes the largest pies – like what you’d buy in a bakery – and is great for those who want regular-sized pies. The Kogan Pie Maker (makes 4 pies) pies are smaller than Sunbeam and bigger that the Kmart pies – but the deepest of all of them and can hold the most filling. The Kmart Pie Maker (makes 4 pies) pies are smaller than the Sunbeam and Kogan – and nowhere near as deep. But at $29 it’s the cheapest in the market by far and is great for desserts and cooking eggs, as well as those with kids who may struggle to get through a large pie.Fascinating!
