The bargain superstore’s new ‘Push Close’ storage containers are a little different to most, in that you only need one hand to use them.
Many containers require you to unscrew the lid or press down the seal with both hands or click the lid into place – all actions that require two hands.
However the ‘Push Close’ Kmart containers require minimal effort, and you simply need to just press down on the button at the top of the lid to open and close the seal. Ah-mazing.And the best part? They’re cheap! Prices start at $6 and the containers come in a range of sizes.The storage solution has been hailed as a ‘godsend’ for people suffering from arthritis or who may have a disability. One fan took to the Kmart Mums Australia page to rave about the containers.Said one fan: ‘My brother who is disabled and only has the use of his left hand struggled with opening and closing the biscuit barrel. This push close container is amazing.
