They’ve only been on the show 5 minutes and have already ruffled more than a few feathers, but My Kitchen Rules’ home-schooled Christian brothers Josh and Austin took some time out to run some errands in Sydney on Jan. 30.
The pair – who have found themselves roasted on social media – were photographed without their aprons and embraced a casual look as they strolled around the city with some drinks in hand.
Josh sported a blue shirt and skinny black jeans for the jaunt – while he clutched what appeared to be an iced coffee in his left hand.
He also wore a pair of large headphones around his neck – suggesting he may have been enjoying some music as he pounded the pavement with his bro.
Austin, meanwhile, wore his long brunette hair loose around his shoulders while rocking a red checked shirt and ripped jeans.
He also appeared to have opted for a coffee – but at one point he looked a little unimpressed with something that caught his eye.
The brothers’ appearance came as Australia appears to have dubbed them the new villains of the hit Channel 7 show.
The pair have been open about their attitude to religion.
“The biggest misconception with religion in this day is that religion is based on practice and we don’t believe that religion is necessarily based on practice, we believe it’s based on what’s in your heart,” Josh tells New Idea.
“Religion today tells people you have to do this or you’re going to hell if you don’t do this and we don’t believe in that at all.
“We believe that if your heart is in the right place, then your actions will follow that.”
