The girlfriend of former Home and Away star Johnny Ruffo has paid tribute to her love.
Tahnee Sims shared a poignant message to Instagram just a day after Johnny marked the first anniversary of his brain tumour diagnosis with his own heartfelt post.
‘A year on from the day that life threw us a massive fkn curve ball!! I couldn’t be more proud of how you’ve dealt with it all & continue to soldier on with that cheeky smile..’ Tahnee wrote.
‘Radiotherapy & so far 10 months of chemo you’ve handled like a boss & your strength honestly blows my mind! Here’s to kicking Cancers asse & living our best lives.’
Earlier, former Home and Away favourite Johnny penned his own emotional post thanking those who had supported him through a ‘crazy ride’.
‘Today is exactly a year since I was rushed to hospital to have an emergency operation to remove a brain tumour,’ Johnny wrote on 7 August.
‘It has been a crazy ride and I’m not quite finished yet but I want to share some snaps of the past year and say thank you to everyone who has been there for me and supported me throughout this time.’
