According to neighbours of Adelaide couple Lisa and Andy, many of the duos ignored the siren warning them to down tools and end their renovation, Daily Mail reports.

The reports claimed teams and their tradies were still decorating their homes more than 20 minutes after the signal sounded, with one local deeming it “disappointing to witness”.

The shocking news is sure to come as a blow to the popular series, which is headed up by Johanna Griggs with the help of design experts Jamie Durie and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.

Last week, Laurence and his wife of 30 years Jackie attended the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show to take a look at the Duchess of Cambridge‘s special wilderness exhibit.

LLB has a history with the royal family, having worked on interior redesigns for Her Majesty The Queen and Prince Philip.

The design pro recently caused controversy by declaring Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, is “far too dull” to request his flamboyant interior advice, but the comment didn’t appear to ruffle any royal feathers as he happily inspected Kate Middleton’s handiwork.
