They’re two of Summer Bay’s longest-standing and most-loved residents, but Lynne McGranger and Ada Nicodemou are also best friends.
On Tuesday, Home and Away star Lynne wished her co-star and close friend Ada Nicodemou a happy 42nd birthday, by way of a sweet message on Instagram.
Taking to social media, Lynne – who plays Irene Roberts on the hit show – wrote an emotional post to Ada alongside a smiling picture of the two women.
“Wishing my dear friend and dressing room buddy a very happy birthday and may the year ahead be filled with love and laughter.
“Love you loads.”
This isn’t the first time the actresses have been open about their love for one another.
In March, Ada spoke with New Idea about how she and Lynne quickly went from co-workers to fast friends after the Australian-born Greek Cypriot actress joined the soap 20 years ago.
“We instantly connected,” says Ada, “And we know each other really, really well.
“She’s a true friend and true friends do not come around that often.”
