She’s spent eight years playing Roo Stewart on Home & Away and now fans of the hit Channel 7 show can catch their first glimpse of Georgie Parker back on set in Summer Bay.
Georgie – who has said returning to the popular soap feels like ‘coming home’ – was spotted on location alongside co-stars Lukas Radovic, Ray Meagher and James Stewart.
Georgie appeared relaxed as she filmed scenes in Sydney on April 9, dressed in simple white shorts, a long sleeved top and sandals.
Previously, Georgie has taken a break from filming to concentrate on her stint on stage in the play Luna Gale.
‘Channel Seven have always understood that it’s a real need for me to do theatre. I feel extremely grateful,’ Georgie spilled to New Idea at the time.
‘It’s always so nice to step back on that set and see the crew and the cast.’
Anticipation for Georgie’s return to Summer Bay built when the star shared a selfie of herself with co-star Lucas to her popular Instagram page – sending fans into a spin.
‘When does Roo come back to Summer Bay,’ quizzed one, to which Georgie replied, ‘Sooooon’.
And it appears the Gold Logie winner’s return won’t go unnoticed by crew members.
‘They certainly notice if I’m not there because I’m one of the louder cast members,’ Georgie has admitted.
‘I’ll happily tell you that!’
