Former Home and Away star Ben Unwin has tragically passed away at age 41, and fans of the hit Channel Seven show have come out in droves to pay their respects.
In an official statement to New Idea about August 14, an NSW Police representative said: “At midday, police attended Minyon Fall, Whian Whian, responding to a concern for welfare. ”
“The body of a 41-year-old man was located. The death has not been treated as suspicious.”

The actor, who played Jesse McGregor on the hit Channel Seven soap, died last week.
Understandably, fans of the Summer Bay favourite were heartbroken, with many taking to social media to express their condolences to the family and friends of Ben Unwin.

Ben was a fan favourite in Summer Bay, portraying Jesse McGregor from 1996-2000 until he changed career paths to study law, later working as a solicitor.
Ben has been nominated for a Logie Award in 1997 in the Most Popular New Talent category for his portrayal of Jesse on Home and Away. Later in 1997, Ben was nominated for British National Television award for his performance on Summer Bay.
