In his more than 30 years of experience in media, Ewan has worked across titles as varied as sports and technology to travel and fashion. Starting his career as a 19-year-old Editorial Assistant, within six months, he quickly moved up the ranks to Deputy Editor on Jammin magazine, Australia’s only basketball and lifestyle title. He has since worked on mastheads including The Sydney Morning Herald, Marie Claire, InStyle, SLAM (US), Women’s Health, and that’s life!. Ewan is a sports-mad journalist at heart, and his love of complex sports stats mirrors the obsessive attention to detail he uses to polish New Idea's copy every week.
