Police have been forced to lock down busy shopping centre Westfield Bondi Junction as a man has died.
David Jones shut its doors and turned customers away following the man’s death, while other shops are expected to remain closed while detectives investigate.
It is understood that the man’s death was an instance of self-harm, and is not being treated as suspicious.
A second person was treated by paramedics for minor injuries.
