MasterChef’s Season 10 winner Sashi Cheliah was asked the tough questions following his victory over Ben Borscht, and he’s made a startling revelation.
The 39-year-old South Australian prison guard was asked on Studio 10 if he’s heard of officers ‘hooking up’ with inmates.
The father-of-two told the hosts, ‘Definitely there have been cases like that.’
‘But as an officer, you have to draw a line. You can be friendly but they’re not your friends.
‘People can be very manipulative. They can talk you into things that you don’t want to get involved…if you’re not mentally strong you can get stuck into it very easily.’
Joe Hildebrand asked Sashi, who works in a women’s prison, if there were any ‘acts of intimacy’ taking place.
‘Not necessarily in the prison,’ he said. ‘It can be outside also.’
Studio 10’s comments come after a unnamed source told Channel Nine that ‘sex between officers and inmates is commonplace.’
‘I saw a female prison officer with her skirt up around her waist with no underwear on top of an inmate with no clothes on,’ the source allegedly said.
