When Kim Kardashian’s sex tape leaked in 2007, two things happened. Half the world dragged her name through the mud, shaming her for ever having been a part of it. The other half of the world felt sorry for the then 26-year old, who was taking way more of the heat than her ‘co-star’, her ex-boyfriend Ray J. Kim told Oprah Winfrey in 2012 that although this sex tape introduced her to the world, it was a negative introduction and she subsequently “had to work 10 times harder” to get the public to see her for more than just her body.
But there is a big difference between private material being leaked, and the way we actively choose to present ourselves to others. That’s arguably why Kim’s own Instagram account is, at times, quite NSFW. Who is it really hurting though? Kim may be a billionaire business woman and a major king pin in the Kardashian-Jenner empire, but at the end of the day she is a person like the rest of us. She struggled to cope with the effects of her pregnancies, and like many expectant mothers, she lost confidence. “I was somebody who gained sixty or seventy pounds in my pregnancies and felt so unlike myself and so unsexy,” Kim recalls. “I just felt so bad about myself in my soul. The internet was making fun of me, comparing me to whales! Shamu and I were in a ‘Who wore it better?’-side by side.”

In this sexy close up, Kim wears some nipple covers a bikini from Chanel’s 1996 swimwear collection. If you want a pair for yourself, they’ll set you back at least $500.00 and you certainly won’t get much material for your money.
Reaction: Fans comments ranged from confused ( “are those eye patches?” read one) to encouraging (“U deserve 20 million likes or more” read another) Her best friend Paris Hilton was there to big Kim up, leaving a ‘That’s Hot’ in the comments. After all what are BFFs for?
9. The Category Is : Wet T-Shirt Competition

Overview: Ok technically she has a top on, but Kim may as well be topless in this Instagram post promoting KKW Beauty.
Reaction: There were those that clearly missed the point, like the person who wrote “ur nips are showing rlly bad”. Somehow we think Kim is aware of that, random commenter. Then there were those more concerned with the fashion side of this photoshoot, like the person who demanded to know “Where are your earrings?” Yeah, good point, where’s your bling in this one Kim? Despite the variety of reactions this picture received, Kim definitely got her point across. We get it Kim K, nude suits you.
8. Oodles Of Nudels
Taken: 7 March 2018, when Kim, Kourtney and Khloe were in Japan.
Overview: This is how everyone eats their udon, right? Or maybe it’s just a Kardashian nude thing? Kim captioned the pic ‘nudels’, showing her cheeky sense of humour, but her trip to Japan was anything but a holiday. Kim was under a lot of pressure to showcase multiple new Yeezy looks, so it’s possible that this clothing optional shot was one of her only chances to relax.
7. A Lady Godiva Moment
Taken: 4 December 2018 during a photoshoot.
Overview: Lady Godiva doesn’t hold a candle to Kim Kardashian, who posted these pics as part of the KKW Beauty Blossom campaign. The only thing preventing this photo from being uncensored is Kim’s long, flowing tresses.
Reaction: Some of Kim’s fans left comments saying that this image made her look like a modern day Mona Lisa, and if that didn’t brighten Kim’s day we don’t know what will!
6. It’s All in a Day’s Work for Kim!
Taken: 25 April 2018 as Kim prepared to launch her fragrance.
Overview: You know how it is, you show up to work, strip off and get your entire body covered in plaster….no? Ok, just Kim then.
If you want to see Kim Kardashian naked, this Instagram snap is extremely NSFW. Kim even blurred out some of the details herself, presumably to make it slightly more Instagram friendly. This picture was a BTS look into the release of the KKW Body fragrance, which came in a bottle modelled on Kim Kardashian’s nude body – you can’t accuse her of cutting corners!
Reaction: It was sad to see so many comments from trolls on this photo. At the end of the day, Kim is a savvy businesswoman and this was just another way to set her product apart from the rest of the market. However, we know that trolls and ignoring their jealous comments are all in a day’s work for Kim.
5. All That Glitters
Taken: 30 November 2017, during a photoshoot
Overview: They say all that glitters is not gold, heck Kim’s hubby Kanye has even rapped those very words in his nostalgic track ‘Family Business‘. But we know that Kim is a solid gold superstar that can wear nothing but glitter and still look like a million bucks. Kim snapped this selfie behind the scenes as she prepared to promote her Ultralight Beams collection
Reaction: Kim is giving us Bond Girl vibes crossed with some sort of X-rated Tinkerbell, and we’re here for it.
4. Is She Fur Real?
Taken: 30 January 2018
Overview: Where do we even begin? Wearing nothing but a white string thong and a fur coat, Kim flaunts her assets for the camera. It’s nice to imagine that Kanye took this for her – the ultimate Insta-husband shot.
Reaction: Boy, was this photo divisive or what? In one corner, we had Piers Morgan throwing his toys out of the pram because Kim is a mother and, according to Piers, she shouldn’t be allowed to show a hint of sexuality. Other commentators were angry that Kim was still wearing her hair in Fulani braids despite not being of African descent. Then there were those annoyed about Kim’s wearing fur – the list went on and on!
3. Fame At Kim’s Fingertips
Taken: 19 October 2019
Overview: Kim captioned this photo “A little silver eye this morning!” and if you had no idea what she was talking about at first, we don’t blame you. This shot was designed to promote her Flashing Lights Pressed Powders, but we can’t say our eyes were immediately drawn to the eyeshadow.
Reaction: Everyone was mostly living for the satin sheets and the prospect of new KKW Beauty products, but one outraged comment read “There are still KIDS ON HERE.” Hey, it’s up to parents to monitor their kids internet use, not Kim.
2. Kim Laying It All Out on The Table

Overview: Sometimes you’ve gotta lay all your cards on the table. Or, if you’re Kim, you can just skip the cards and just lay on the table yourself. Promoting the KKW Body fragrance, Kim stripped down to her birthday suit yet again. And damn, our sincere congratulations to anyone who can look this good whilst posing in such an awkward position!
Reaction: Once again, this picture attracted the attention of a lot of trolls, who wrote comments like “Ok, well doctors made you” and accused Kim of wanting the public to focus more on her and less on her sisters. For the information of those trolls: we’re sure Kim’s going to be crying all the way to the bank!

Overview: When KKW Body gets restocked, how do you let your fans know this crucial information? You post a crazy hot close-up of your banging body, that’s how! Kim complexion and her classic hourglass figure make her look like a true work of art, we could be looking a polished marble statue for all we know.
Reaction: The Internet lost its mind over Kim’s gorgeous figure, with news media outlets reporting on the Instagram post in itself. Kim deserves all the good press she gets, she clearly put her heart and soul (and booty!) into the production of the fragrance.
