Jackie O reveals scar on forehead after skin cancer scare

An important reminder about the summer sun

Jackie O Henderson is known for her controversial antics on-air, but yesterday the outspoken radio host used her fame to share a very important reminder about health and sun protection with her legion of 172,000 followers.

Taking to her Instagram story alongside best friend and fellow media personality Sophie Monk, 43-year-old Jackie displayed a prominent scar on the side of her forehead.

The Kyle and Jackie O co-host revealed the large spot was a result of applying Aldara cream, a medicine used to treat precancerous skin growths, superficial basal cell carcinoma and excessive sun exposure.

The celebrity BFFs acted out a tongue and cheek exchange where they joked about Jackie wearing the mark to the Melbourne Cup instead of her usual designer accessories.

“It doesn’t matter how windy it gets, this thing ain’t coming off!” Jackie said, adding the scar would last several weeks.
