Comeback star Jack Vidgen has been deluged with concerned comments, and assailed by vile trolls criticising his cosmetic procedures, after blowing away the judges on The Voice with his amazing rendition of Adele’s Hello.
The star, who was a former winner of Australia’s Got Talent, before he fled the industry, disillusioned, still has the winning voice that made him a star, but some viewers are struggling with how much his face has changed.
Stage favourite Rhonda Burchmore wrote, ‘Watching @TheVoiceAu OMG! What has @JackVidgen done to his face? No need for those pumped up lips. You were wonderful before!’
She quickly deleted the comment after criticism from fans, but many other posters without her profile weren’t so circumspect – tipping over the line from concern to nastiness.
‘With all the things Jack Vidgen stopped doing… Lip fillers should’ve been at the top of the list,’ sniped one viewer on social media.
Another complained, ‘Poor Jack. His lips look like they hurt. You just gotta know where to stop with the filler babe.’
Jack says he couldn’t care less what people say about his face, and insists he likes the work he has had done – which he says is confined to lip filler.
‘Obviously I’ve had my lips done, but to me, I can’t believe that is what people are talking about. I mean it’s obvious… I’m not denying it. I couldn’t care less,’ he days.
‘I think whatever makes you happy and whatever makes you most comfortable in your skin, then I think that’s what you’ve got to do.’
