It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas for the stars of our favourite TV drama. So it’s only fitting that the cast of Home and Away should join forces to sprinkle some festive cheer.

With the holiday season almost upon us, we get merry with the much-loved folk from Summer Bay as they reveal their plans for the most joyous time of the year. And all they want for Christmas is….

Christmas plans this year?

Sam: I’m one of six siblings and this year I’m going back home to Melbourne. We’ve got this big Airbnb house, so we’re all staying together for the few nights leading up to it with my nieces and nephews. It will be a bit of a madhouse, but I’m so excited.

Lynne: Normally I go over to England and do a pantomime, but this year I’m taking a year off and chilling at home.

Favourite Christmas tradition?

Olivia: Waking up early and exchanging presents with my parents to see what Santa got us. Then having a huge family dinner – all my cousins come.

Favourite Christmas food?

Olivia: I’m a big fan of potatoes, so roast potatoes and gravy always gets me. We’ll also always make a pav and a pudding, and we’ll light the pudding on fire with the brandy.

Courtney: We never have the seafood thing. We always just have a chicken roast with vegetables and I am completely happy with that!

Sam: I used to always have roast lamb and roast vegies – that was always the tradition – but now I’m a vegetarian so I don’t know what to eat anymore on the day. Maybe lots of chocolate!

New Year’s resolution?

Courtney: To be true to myself. I think everyone needs to remember that one.

Olivia: To accept and love myself for whatever I have going on, and to make an even more conscious choice to love and support other women as well.
