She’s yet to admit to Robbo she has feelings for him, but could Jasmine have left her run too late?
In not-to-be-missed episodes, Jasmine (Sam Frost) looks set to finally come clean about her developing attraction to the reformed criminal – only to lose her nerve when she spots Robbo (Jake Ryan) sharing an intimate embrace with Tori (Penny McNamee).
“Neither Tori or Robbo have ever had romantic feelings for each other, but wires definitely do become crossed for Jasmine, which is understandable,” says Penny.
Jasmine is unaware that Tori has asked Robbo to have an IVF baby with her. And Robbo has just said yes!
“Robbo was pretty shocked when Tori first asked him,” says Penny. “He has a tragic history in terms of losing his own children. It’s been an agonising wait until now for Tori – she put her heart on the line and has been in limbo while Robbo decided. But now he agrees, she couldn’t be happier.”
Elated, the pair throw their arms around each other, oblivious to the fact a devastated Jasmine is watching them.
“Tori would feel really bad if she knew how Jasmine felt,” says Penny. “There is no animosity between Tori and Jasmine. Tori’s intention would never be to hurt Jasmine. It’s just that Tori has such a one-track mind at the moment. She is insensitive to the Jasmine and Robbo situation. All that Tori is focusing on is her dream to have a baby.”
And Jasmine feels worse still the following morning when she sees Tori and Robbo leaving the Diner with overnight bags. But what Jasmine doesn’t know is that the pair are heading to the city to undergo tests and counselling at the IVF clinic.
