In no time at all, Summer Bay’s Mackenzie (Emily Weir) and Colby (Tim Franklin) have become one of our favourite on-again/off-again TV couples.
And Emily is in full agreement that the two Summer Bay characters are meant to be.

“I think Mackenzie and Colby make a great couple,” she says. “They can’t seem to stay away from each other.
They have a really fun, witty and intelligent attraction to each other.”
Indeed, in tonight’s episode, the genetically-blessed pair – whose sizzling romance is currently on the rocks – find themselves unable to stay away from each other yet again.
“I always think of these scenes as little rom-coms in a way,” says Emily. “They’re really funny, well-shot and endearing scenes to play.”
Meanwhile, before long, Colby has made a candid confession to Mackenzie – which leads to a passionate kiss.
Does this mean the pair’s fiery relationship is officially on-again?
