Ziggy’s (Sophie Dillman) world will collapse if her worst fears are finally realised – her husband Brody (Jackson Heywood) is cheating on her with Simone (Emily Eskell), the woman Ziggy has long mistrusted. What’s more, could Ziggy walk in on Brody and Simone in the middle of a sizzling encounter?
“Ziggy has tried so hard to put her suspicions to the back of her mind,” says Sophie. “Now the reality is about to strike, and she could hit rock bottom.”
Early in the week, Brody stuns Simone with a dramatic declaration of love – he says he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Meanwhile, a still-oblivious Ziggy is not only busy house-hunting for her and her chef husband, but coming to a surprise decision of her own. She wants to start a family with Brody – and sooner rather than later.
“I think Ziggy does want to have children one day, but not now,” says Sophie. “I feel that she’s made this decision because she thinks it’s what Brody wants.”
Not surprisingly, Ziggy is left feeling hurt and confused when Brody races out the door the moment she drops her baby bombshell.
“She feels a lot of emotion at this point,” says Sophie.
But everything could soon make sense to the young mechanic.
“The secret is finally about to come out,” says Sophie, who confesses even she was stunned by what unfolds next.
“I’ve always loved getting the scripts,” says the actress. “I’m that super-nerd who reads them the second they come out and, with this one, I really had to know.”
