It was this week that New Idea reported Chezzi Denyer, the wife of Family Feud host Grant Denyer, was going under the knife this week to fix her debilitating migraines.
Now, the TV producer has given her social media followers an update from her hospital bed, just hours after the operation on Thursday.
She captioned the snap, ‘I am very much alive (even though my eyes tell a different story).’
The post continued, ‘My Doc @drwilliammooney says the operation was a HUGE success, which is exactly what I wanted to hear. I’m feeling sore but not too bad. I’ve swallowed heaps of blood (🤢) which makes me feel quite queasy and I have very low blood pressure for some reason.
‘But all in all I feel pretty good. I’m on a lot of medication to reduce inflammation and bruising and now it’s just recovery and rest for me for the next few days..
‘I’m missing my babies terribly but they’re in good hands – thanks Mum! Thank you to everyone for all the well wishes and messages and flowers and cards. I’m completely overwhelmed by all the love. Love to you all. See you in a few days time!!’
Chezzi’s post was filled with well-wishes.
‘Sending love Chezzi. Hope as each day ends you are feeling much better,’ one commenter wrote.
Another added, ‘Wishing you a speedy recovery.’
Chezzi and Grant have been married since 2010 and the couple share two beautiful daughters, Sailor, 6, and Scout, 2.
