They were all-smiles on the Logie red carpet but what fans didn’t see was the growing tensions that were playing out behind the scenes between Lisa Wilkinson and Carrie Bickmore.
While strutting down the carpet, the two happily snapped a number of selfies with one another, but were quick to part ways the second the cameras stopped rolling.
Red carpet insiders spied the two TV hosts posing together before immediately turning their backs on each other.
‘They couldn’t have been less excited to walk that carpet together,’ a source spills to New Idea.
‘You could’ve cut the tension with a Gold Logie.’
Despite persistent reports of a feud between both hosts of The Project, well-placed sources tell New Idea Carrie’s growing animosity over Lisa’s role and pay packet on the hit show has reached bowling point.
‘It’s worse than anyone realises – they want nothing to do with each other.’

This sentiment was echoed when insiders spied the pair at opposite ends of the Channel Ten network afterparty.
‘They arrived separately and didn’t speak all night,’ an onlooker reveals.
‘Carrie was up the back snacking on chips and sipping soft drink, while Lisa seemed disinterested and vanished.’
