Promising to help the 2018 star mums winner Lisa Wells with an upcoming fundraiser, Sarah quipped, ‘Maybe you’d prefer one of the other duchesses?’
The jokes was well received by the audience, who responded with laughter. While Sarah may be far from being the Queen, she's still at the top of the tree when it comes to a right royal quip!
Sarah’s profile has grown recently, as her daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice become more prominent in London society - especially since Eugenie's wedding - and within the British royal family. There's also ongoing talk that she and ex-husband Prince Andrew are set to remarry.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, body language expert Judi James said the famous exes appear to be much more than just friends after their Ascot appearance among members of the royal family, including Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Zara Philips last week. Will Fergie wed the Duke of York again? Is an engagement ring far off?
If the body language is any indication, something is definitely brewing.
'From the yellow rose in his lapel matching the colour of her dress to the rather relaxed body language displays together that still look heavily suppressed as though avoiding any obvious give-always, Prince Andrew and Sarah look far more like currents than exes here,' Judi said.
'They seem to avoid actual eye contact here but proximity doesn't seem to be a problem and Sarah's raised chin, warm smile and splayed feet as she poses beside Andrew suggests confidence rather than awkwardness,' she added.
Let's hope there is another royal wedding not far off!
