Bohemian bride Blair hoped her TV wedding would be a perfect start to her relationship with FIFO worker Sean, who she ties the knot with on screen this week.
But behind her happy smile lies the real reason she kept her heartbreaking past to herself.
‘Blair has been cheated on in pretty much every relationship she has ever had,’ a friend tells New Idea.‘She didn’t want Sean to judge her or worse, pity her.’
But the pretty blonde says she was left gobsmacked when her bridesmaid betrayed her trust, telling Sean she was, in fact, still married to her ex, which plays out this week on the show.
‘She was absolutely oored. She was up against the clock trying to get the divorce papers through before filming started,’ says a friend. ‘She wanted that all kept in the past, but unfortunately it didn’t happen in time.’
Since then, divorce proceedings have progressed through the courts.
It was only three years after saying ‘I do’ to the man she once described as her ‘soulmate’ that Blair was left devastated by a string of flirty emails between him and another woman.
‘She came across them by accident when he was away,’ spills the friend. ‘I have never seen anyone so heartbroken. She was beyond consolable.’
But it has been revealed that Sean’s ex Jasmine was shocked to see him on the dating experiment just months after they’d been talking about tying the knot.
Issuing a warning to Blair, the scorned blonde says: ‘He is only in it for the fame.’
