She’s no stranger to solving a crime or fighting off villains, so when X-Files star Gillian Anderson suggested she would be keen to be the next James Bond, fans were left shaken and stirred!
Sharing an image of herself on a mocked-up Bond poster, Gillian cheekily said:
‘It’s Bond. Jane Bond. Thanks for all the votes! (And sorry, don’t know who made poster but I love it!) #NextBond’
The poster was actually by Karla Carbajal, a graphic designer and Gillian Anderson fan from Argentina.
With big names such as Idris Elba, Damian Lewis and Tom Hiddleston being put forward to take over from current 007, Daniel Craig, we reckon a female Bond is a great idea!
