She is used to making kids around the world smile, but, yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins was beaming when she got to meet fellow Aussie and model Miranda Kerr on her birthday.
Emma is currently touring with The Wiggles in Toronto and while she was there she got to spend some time with the stunning model.
“Birthday made. Meeting the beautiful Miranda Kerr,” Emma captioned a snap on Instagram, featuring the two Aussie darlings.
What’s more, the model sent a beautiful message to the children’s entertainer. “Happy Birthday beautiful,” she commented on a photo of the pair.
Emma later posted a video of the two waving and blowing kisses to the camera.
“Thank you for all the bowtiful birthday messages,” she captioned the clip.
“Had a beautiful day in Toronto wiggling, dancing, singing and hanging out with fellow Aussies.”
This is the first birthday that Emma has celebrated since announcing her split from fellow Wiggle, Lachlan Gillespie in August 2018.
“We have, and continue to share, the most beautiful life together, but we wanted to let you know that privately for the last six months we have been navigating through a trial separation, and we have made the decision to separate as a couple,” Emma wrote on Instagram at the time.
“Throughout that period, we have performed hundreds of shows together and that is always a continued source of joy for us both.”
Lachy also opened up the split and revealed that the pair are still close.
“To be able to realise as a couple that we were going different ways and to stay as close as we are is a real testament, I think, to both of us,” he told the Herald Sun.
“We have got to that point that we know our paths have changed and things were not working as a couple. But all we care about is the children who watch the show. That’s how it started and that hasn’t changed.”
