They’ve enjoyed a sensational and somewhat controversial run on My Kitchen Rules, ruffling feathers along the way with their competitive game-playing.

And Ibby Moubadder and Romel Kouyan found themselves in hot water once again on Sunday night after sailing through to the semi-finals with two perfect tens from the judges.

Manu Feildel and Pete Evans awarded the team 10/10 for their Bluefish dish during the restaurant challenge.

But viewers were quick to point out the “unfair advantage” the outspoken duo have on their co-stars due to the fact 30-year-old Ibby already runs a chain of restaurants in Sydney.

Per Daily Mail Australia, one social media user tweeted: “Ibby himself said they have an advantage because they have a better understanding of how a professional kitchen works. They’d also have a better idea of what is and isn’t popular.”

Someone else slammed the chef for denying his commercial experience gave him an advantage over amateur home cooks.

Another remarked the fact the pair were winning so many of the challenges is telling in itself.

Lebanese-born Ibby is the founder of a number of prolific Sydney eateries including the exceptionally “Instagram-able” Cuckoo Callay in Newtown and Nour restaurant in Surry Hills.
