Love Island host Sophie Monk has sparked engagement rumours after she mysteriously disappeared from her duties as host, to go an enjoy a romantic holiday with her now rumored fiancé, Joshua Gross.

Sophie was noticeably absent from Tuesday night’s bombshell elimination, sending a series of text messages to the baffled contestants to inform the Love Islanders who was leaving the Fijian mansion.
Even the show’s narrator – Eoghan McDermott – was surprised by Monk’s dissapearence.
“Ladies and gentlemen, bring on the Monk,” Eoghan began. “A text? Oh, fair enough. Bring on the text!”
After receiving the text, it was Cynthia who was left to reveal that the ‘bomb-squad’ would be broken up, as the three intruders faced eviction.
The unusual format of eviction raised more than a few eyebrows, with fans taking to Twitter to express their surprise.
Sophie is known for her dedication to work, so for her to leave in the middle of production must mean something serious is afoot, and it certainly wouldn’t be just any old holiday with a boyfriend.
Only time will tell.
