After being snapped kissing her friend Kaitlynn Carter in Lake Como just days after confirming her split from Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth, Miley has now shared a photo of herself in the recording studio, presumably gearing up for a breakup album.
On Monday, the Nothing breaks Like A Heart singer shared a snap of herself to Twitter and Instagram story wearing headphones and standing in front of a microphone, leaving the shot captionless.
Fans immediately rushed to Twitter to express their excitement over the impending music, with many fans calling for a ‘Wrecking Ball 2.0’.
Miley and Liam met on the set of 2009’s The Last Song, and we married in an intimate ceremony only last year.
Taking to Instagram the country singer and former Disney star addressed her marriage breakdown in a cryptic post.
Cyrus, 26, and Hemsworth, 29, released a statement to PEOPLE magazine on Saturday announcing their separation.
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time.
“Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
We have a feeling this breakup is going to get messy!
