Miley Cyrus‘s relationship with Kaitlynn Carter has ended as quickly as it started.
According to reports, the pair broke up last week after a brief romance following Miley’s split from her husband, Liam Hemsworth.
And now the newly single star has turned to her family – and her dog – to combat her loneliness.

Miley went public with her romance with Kaitlynn in August – just hours after announcing her split from Liam – when they were spotted together in Italy.
Since then, the pair have packed on the PDAs, and only last week were snapped at New York Fashion Week together.
However, it seems their romance is well and truly over.
According to PEOPLE, Miley and Kaitlynn have reportedly ended their relationship of barely over a month.
On Saturday, Miley, who has been in Las Vegas to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, posted a lonely selfie of herself and her dog to her Instagram.
Miley’s mum Tish and sister Brandi are also in Vegas with the star, which should help her cope with her relationship woes.
Brandi recently spoke out about her younger sister Miley, confirming she’d support her through her relationship troubles.
“I’m here for her, obviously, and I’ve been spending a lot of time with her,” she told Wells Adams on their Your Favorite Thing podcast last month.
