Mel B hires new nanny Lauren McCartney, after claims their former nanny Lorraine Gilles, had an affair with the British stars estranged husband, Stephen Belafonte.
It’s said that the Cronulla girl met the former Spice Girl when she was here filming The X Factor Australia in Sydney last year and is now well-known and trusted by the singer.
Lauren, who previously dated former NRL player Jack Elsegood, has been in Los Angeles the past few weeks to be by Mel’s side during her bitter divorce with her restraining order against her US film producer husband coming into effect.
Mel claims that throughout her 10-year marriage with Stephen, he became abusive and unfaithful even impregnating former German nanny and forcing her to get an abortion.
In 2015, Mel sacked Lorriane after finding out about the affair and the $300,000 her husband paid her for ‘nanny services’ a year earlier.
