It’s hard work being a mum, let alone one to six kids under eight years old. So actress, Madeleine West can surely be forgiven for taking a few shortcuts, right?

The former Neighbours star came under fire when she revealed in her book Six Under Eight that she sometimes puts her children to bed in their clothes for the next day, to save time.
However, now, she’s hit back at critics on social forums who have labeled her lazy and a bad mum.
‘Social media forums for me are sort of like the village that we had in the olden days. And if we’re tearing each other down on social media, then people who really do need help and a shoulder to cry on aren’t going to reach out for fear of being judged,’ the 35-year-old said.
‘If you haven’t got anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all.’
