Luke Perry suffered a massive stroke on February 28 and slipped into a coma.
Just five days later, the 52-year-old actor tragically passed away.
And now, US Weekly have obtained the 911 emergency call made at the time of his stroke.
LISTEN TO THE AUDIO HERE:
In the redacted call a woman’s voice is heard on the line asking for the operator to “step on the gas please…hurry up and get here”.
It seems the woman arrived home and found the 90210 star in distress, and the operator asked if the actor had fallen and injured himself and if he was breathing normally.
“The operator also instructed the female caller to stay where she was, remove all animals from the room if any were present and call back if Perry’s condition worsened.”
Perry’s fiancée, Wendy Madison Bauer said in a statement: “I want to express my gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of love and support. The countless, heartwarming stories of Luke’s generosity and kindness have been a great source of solace during this difficult time.”
“The past 11½ years with Luke were the happiest years of my life and I am grateful to have had that time with him.”
The heartbreaking news comes as Luke’s daughter Sophie was forced to hit back at trolls who criticised her grieving process after her father’s death last week.
Several online trolls took aim at the 18-year-old for wearing colourful clothes and appearing upbeat.
On Monday, Sophie took to Instagram to address the claims, writing:
“Since my dad died I have received a lot of attention online…And I’m here to say that I did not ask for this attention, I did not ask to be thrown into some virtual spotlight, and while I don’t mean to offend anybody, I’m also not going to cater to any one else’s needs and beliefs.
“I am going to laugh and smile and live my normal life. YES I am hurt and sad and crying and beside myself with what happened to my dad. It’s the worst thing to ever happen in my life. And I am torn the f**k up over it. But I’m not going to sit in my room and cry day in and day out until the internet has deemed it appropriate for me to do otherwise,” she added.
“And if you knew my dad you would know he wouldn’t want me to. So you shouldn’t either.
“So to those of you shaming me for my language and my wardrobe and most disgustingly, my grieving process, do us both the favor and just unfollow. It’s a waste of both of your time.
“I’m 18. I swear like a sailor and sometimes I dress like a hooker,” she declared.
