Olympic gold winner Lisa Curry is moving into wellness and weddings after announcing she’s turned her $1.125million Sunshine Coast home into a retreat.

The 57-year-old took to Facebook on Tuesday to make the exciting announcement and to ask fans for their support in her new venture. 

Our MALI Retreat is finally getting closer to having all permits approved,” Lisa wrote.

“My very talented hubby Mark and I have been busy repurposing our property to create a beautiful, serene retreat in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Wellness, Health, Fitness, Yoga, Workshops, Boutique Weddings, Conferences, Happy Glamping getaways.”

The swimmer-turned-health entrepreneur posted a number of snaps showcasing the new venue. 

In one pic, Lisa was casually dressed without makeup as she sat on a pile of wood. 

Lisa sported a big grin in a grey T-shirt with white overalls and floral gumboots as she looked ready to spend the day on a building site.

She also shared several snaps of the glamping tents, which feature comfy beds and fluffy towels.

She went on to outline the support she needs from fans to get her venture off the ground. 

“As part of our council permit process for our MALI Retreat we need support from anyone who thinks it would be worthwhile for the community,” she wrote.
