They’ve become the closest of confidants, with Dean (Patrick O’Connor) proving he’s a true support to Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) during her time of heartbreak. But now the couple are set to take their friendship to the next level.

In unforgettable scenes, the Summer Bay bad boy and Ziggy share a passionate kiss – and let’s just say it’s in the steamiest of settings. For the gorgeous pair give in to their attraction while showering in the middle of the Aussie outback!
“This is such an exciting development,” says Sophie. “Everyone’s been talking about how they believe that Ziggy and Dean are a good match – and the way that they get together
is really cool too.”
Earlier in the week, an excited Ziggy and Dean head off together on a desert road trip to compete in a charity car rally.
“They’re keen to get away from the Bay for a bit,” says Patrick. “They both need a break, and this is the perfect opportunity.”
Agrees Sophie: “Ziggy wants to get out of the Bay as fast as she can. She is so excited and ready to be in this race.”
Unbeknown to the pair, however, they have a ‘stowaway’ on board – rebellious teen Bella (Courtney Miller) is hiding in the boot! And when Bella’s phone goes off, she has good reason to fear that she’s been busted.
“Bella has her reasons for secretly coming along,” teases Patrick.
After the first day of the rally, Ziggy and Dean find themselves chatting with fellow race-goers, Tanya and Paul, around the campsite. When Paul makes a devastating revelation about his future, Dean comes to the realisation that life is too short not to be embraced.
Later that evening, alone with Ziggy at the campfire, the River Boy seizes the moment and kisses the gorgeous mechanic. But her reaction leaves him believing he’s made a huge mistake. Clearly, he believes, Ziggy doesn’t feel the same way about him!
“Dean thinks he’s been reading all the signals wrong,” says Patrick. “Things do get really awkward between them at this point.”
The next day, however, Ziggy and Dean share a portable shower after a good-natured prank leaves them covered in mud. And it’s then that things quickly get hot and heavy between the pair.
