In the lead-up to the nuptials, Sam had “so much fun” trying on bridal gowns
“It was really exciting and so much fun to do, but we did the scene so many times,” shares Sam.
“People say, ‘Doesn’t it feel like a real-life wedding?’ and I’ll think ‘Hopefully, in a real wedding, I’ll only be saying my vows once!’ But this was about honouring Jas and doing the best I could for her.”

“Shelley, who works in Wardrobe, went out to a bridal shop and chose a few different ones,” she says. “I put them on and said, ‘I love this one the most!’
“It’s also different to what I would choose. Because Jasmine’s wedding takes place in a church, it’s quite a formal dress. I don’t think I’d go as formal for myself, because I’d want to be able to dance all night, and I don’t think you’d be able to do that in Jas’ dress.”
“It’s quite long and fitted, and you also wouldn’t be able to have too many burgers in it!” she laughs.
Safe to say, a laidback Sam – like Jasmine – is unlikely to transform into a bridezilla if she does one day head down the aisle for real.
“My partner and I are pretty cruisy people,” she says. “He’s super down-to-earth and we both don’t like fuss.”
