Home and Away star Olivia Deeble, 16, is the ultimate girl next door. With her blonde waves and bright smile, she is a natural beauty.
But, the actress who plays Raffy, opened up about how she really feels about her figure.
“I am very curvy and I love that about myself at times and, at times, I don’t,” she admits to New Idea. “But, as a whole, I’m pretty happy with myself.”
While, we all have our bad days, Olivia knows how important it is to promote positive body image for the young girls who see her as a role model.
“I think [having a positive body image] is one of the most important things,” she says.
“My mother has been a huge help to me. She’s always taught me if you’re not feeling good, find something good. Don’t look in the mirror and think bad things. No-one’s judging you and if they are, that’s just wrong.”
Of course, Olivia still works hard to stay fit and healthy.
“I try to fit in going to the gym at least three times a week, she says. “I’ll also try to do one Pilates class a week and I’m trying to do one body pump class. It’s important to maintain a workout because I think it does make you happier if you are active.”
But, it’s not just about exercise, Olivia also maintains a healthy diet.
“I have a spinach protein shake in the morning. Pecans or a cacao bar for a snack. Lunch may be chicken with salad or salmon with avocado, and dinner will be steak, lamb, fish or chicken with green beans or spinach followed by maybe some yoghurt or fruit,” she reveals.
“My family’s a big fruit family. And I have lots of green tea throughout the day.”
But she also likes to indulge occasionally.
“Dark chocolate, peanut butter and cheese are my three weaknesses,” she laughs.
