ET child star Henry Thomas arrested

Henry Thomas, one of the child stars of Hollywood classic ET, has been arrested for drink driving on Oregan.

Henry – who portrayed the 10-year-old Elliot in the Academy Award-nominated film – was arrested at 8.30 pm on Monday after his car was stopped in the middle of an intersection.

According to TMZ, the former child star fell asleep at the wheel, with law enforcement forced to shake the actor awake.

Thomas’s star may not have risen to the heights of Drew Barrymore since his days as a child star, but he has continued to work in small roles on hits such as All The Pretty Horses, Gangs of New York, and Netflix’s smash-hit The Haunting of Hill House.

Henry has been married twice, first to Kelly Hill from 2000 – 2002, and then to Marie Zielcke from 2004 – 2007, with whom he shares a daughter.
