Danielle Spencer’s new man ‒ her first boyfriend since splitting with Russell Crowe in 2012 ‒ has spoken out about their romance for the first time, revealing they met when she was still with Russ and that he’s a big fan of the Oscar-winning actor.
In a world exclusive, Adam Long – the man who has finally captured the 47-year-old singer’s heart – has spilled all to New Idea about their relationship.
The pair went public on June 3, strolling hand-in-hand and smiling widely as they displayed their love to the world. Author and cartoonist Adam, 52, tells New Idea that he started dating Russ’ ex four months ago, after bumping into her in the Sydney suburb of Rose Bay.
‘Danielle and I actually met years ago when she was still with Russell,’ reveals Ad, as he is known. ‘They were interested in buying my now ex-mother-in- law’s property. Although we were both with other partners at the time, she left an impression.’
Adam says he is already very much part of the family.
‘That wasn’t the first time I’d met Dani’s parents and kids,’ he gushes. ‘She introduced me pretty early on in the relationship and we regularly all hang out together.’
